How Cheap is Bangkok?

Just to give you an idea at how cheap this place can be. In one day (starting at 5am finishing at 8pm) we went to the River Kawai, rode elephants, floated on bamboo rafts down a river, swam at a waterfall, went to Tiger Temple and got an amazing Thai dinner, all for 20$ cad.
